In 2025, Green Thumb set up a processing plant at Narhe, Pune, designed to convert municipal wet waste into biomass briquettes.
That year also brought a startup grant from the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs and incubation through IIT Kanpur’s FIRST programme.

Share your location, available waste volume and intended use. We’ll help you explore a suitable setup.
They are compact forms of processed biomass used as fuel in suitable heating and industrial equipment. Their size and form differ, so the right choice depends on the application.
No. This process focuses on suitable organic waste. Feedstock quality, moisture and segregation need to be assessed before designing a plant.
We assess this for your project. Feedstock, processing costs, transport, fuel quality and the heating equipment all affect the comparison with your current fuel.
We welcome enquiries from entrepreneurs and organisations interested in setting up a plant. Contact us to discuss feedstock availability, space, capacity and partnership options.
